…and on the subject of comebacks.  I thought I would commemorate my Tumblr comeback with the comeback of a British Girlband. So the story goes:
1998 Siobhan (not pictured) Mutya (not pictured) & Keisha (not pictured) launch to critical acclaim in the UK as a girlband who focus on writing lyrics and not wearing next to nothing to sell records… Their lack of flesh a general fuglyness leads to them being dropped.
2001 - Heidi (pictured - the airbrushed blonde) replaces Siobhan.
2005 - Amelle (pictured - the trailer trash looking bint far left) replaces Mutya
So, the story so far… Only one Original member (those of you that have been paying attention to the first line will know what’s coming next)
2009 - Jade (pictured - the one who isn’t the other two) replaces Keisha and in doing so replaces the last original member.

NOW, I actually am not precious about which face is on the girl singing, I don’t care that not a one of them is an original member.  What annoys me is  how the Sugababes4.0 have become everything Sugababes1.0 said they would never be. Girls who gyrate and wear hardly any clothes to sell records. Also too, the cover looks like it was made with the profits of Catfights & Spotlights [previous album; flopped; hence replacement of last orignal member], which everyone knows was exactly £7.55.

Beyonce, Kelly and 'the other one who replaced the other ones with the other one'....

…So my boyfriend works for an international airline, and one of his friends recently flew the Children of Destiny long-haul.  Beyonce and Kelly were sat in Business… “Michelle can you handle this” was seated in economy.  Michelle was in steerage.  Poor Michelle. For the record, ‘Shell, you were always my 3rd favourite Destiny’s Child member. Promise.

Jennifer Saunders as Madonna.

From the tour I saw last week, so funny, so accurate: “Every little thing that I try to do to keep up/To get into the groove./Running on the spot baby night and day/No time, for me to put on weight.”

Me last Saturday, at my boyfriend’s birthday. So I have been MIA for a while now, but it’s because SUCK IT MONKEYS, I’M GOING CORPORATE (I got a nice new career-based job that is a 150% pay rise on my current role. Oh yeah!)

I actually just forgot how old I was for a second there...

…I was all like “Oooh you’re 22, you getting old sister-friend.” And then I remembered I am 23 next month! Fail.

Sugababes, “Get Sexy”

New single.  After 10 years of doing the ‘too cool to dance’ thing, they’ve u-turned, and I think it was long overdue.  This is also going to be their first US release since “Hole In The Head” was largely ignored by the US in 2004.

The song is a grower, not a shower.  I hated it at first, but now I am totally ‘getting sexy in this club’ bedroom. “Get get sexy right now now now n-n-n-n-n-n-now!”

Awww, the home videos released of Michael Jackson's kids are so sad...

…When the sing “You are my Daddy, my only Daddy. You make me happy, when skies are grey.  You’ll never know dear, how much I love you.  Please don’t take my Daddy away.”

It’s easy to forget behind the circus there were three innocent children who lost their Dad.
